A Warm Welcome to Bristol: Urban Student’s Open Day Event Recap

On Friday 13th June, we proudly opened our doors at Urban Creation’s new office at 62 Park Street to coincide with the University of Bristol Open Day — and what a brilliant day it was!
As students and their families arrived in the city to explore their potential new home, we wanted to offer more than just a glimpse into our accommodation — we wanted to offer a warm, real welcome to Bristol, as this is exactly what we’re all about at Urban Student.

🏙️ A New Chapter on Park Street

Having recently moved just down the road from our old office, our new space at 62 Park Street has been a game-changer. With large street-facing windows and an open reception area, our space now reflects everything we stand for at Urban Student — openness, approachability, and community.

We believe student accommodation is about more than just bricks and mortar — it’s about feeling supported, safe and seen. That’s why we’ve created a space where students know they’re always welcome to pop in, have a chat, or get help with anything they need.

🍕 Food & First Impressions

To mark the occasion, we teamed up with our neighbours at Taste of Napoli to provide free catering — sharing delicious Italian bites with anyone passing by, particularly those visiting for the University of Bristol Open Day.

Our team set up outside our office, complete with signage, smiles and lots of fresh food. We chatted with students and families from all over the UK (and beyond!), answered questions about student life in Bristol, and offered impromptu accommodation tours for those interested in seeing what living with Urban Student is really like.

It was an amazing opportunity to not only showcase our high-end properties, but also to demonstrate what really sets us apart: our people-first approach.
