Student Tips: Making the Most of Bristol’s Christmas Markets

Go mid-week or early: To avoid crowds — weekday mornings or afternoons tend to be calmer, especially at big markets like Broadmead or St Nick’s. That’s the beauty of having a student schedule!

Budget friendly fun: All these markets are free to enter — you only pay for food, gifts, or extras. Great if you’re on a student budget.

Gift shopping made easy: Whether it’s handmade jewellery, unique décor or stylish gifts, you’ll find more than just high-street brands. Great for presents for friends, family, or to treat yourself.

For students who love the festive Christmas period, or are just looking for a few gifts to pick up — it’s the perfect season to be in Bristol!
