Bristol is a city known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and world-class educational institutions. It has hosted many talented students over the years, including those that have stayed with Urban Student. But did you know it has a large famous alumnus?

Over the years Bristol has been a nurturing ground for numerous individuals who have gone on to achieve greatness in their respective fields. Do you know any of these big names?

 

Russell Howard (Bristol UWE)

Comedian Russell Howard, known for his stand-up comedy and television shows like “Russell Howard’s Good News,” attended the University of the West of England. He in fact, grew up in the area; If you’ve watched any of his shows, you’ll notice his strong west country accent!
