Everyone is Welcome: Malaysian Cultural Society Partners with Urban Student

Urban Student have joined forces with the Malaysian Cultural Society.

The Malaysian Cultural Society, managed by University of Bristol students, aims to create a welcoming space for Malaysian students studying and living in Bristol. The society organises various events, workshops, support groups, and initiatives to enhance the Bristol experience for international students.

Recently, the society received the GOLD award in the Bristol SU Group Accreditation. This award recognises and rewards affiliated student groups that provide an excellent experience for their members and also highlights areas for improvement.

At Urban Student, we value all our student tenants and strive to ensure they feel supported, accepted, and part of a community in their new city, especially those coming from afar, such as international students. Therefore, we believe it’s crucial to partner with student-run societies like the Malaysian Cultural Society (MCS) Bristol, offering our tenants additional resources and access to these groups upon their arrival in the city.

We are thrilled to partner with the Malaysian Cultural Society and look forward to future collaborations within this partnership.

This is just the beginning; we aim to create an even larger community support as we move forward.
