Whether you fancy a big splurge or a spot of window shopping, Bristol is a shopper’s paradise. From unique finds, vintage treasures, high street brands and flea markets to independent boutiques to grand department stores – it’s got it all.

Heading to the shops? Here’s where we recommend…

Park Street & Clifton Village

For big name brands and upscale shops, head to Park Street and the Clifton Village area (they’re also super close to our apartments!). Discover boutique clothing stores, jewellery shops, and home decor havens. Perfect for fashionable finds and unique gifts.

Gloucester Road

Less than a mile from the city centre, Gloucester Road boasts Bristol’s longest stretch of independent shops. Everything from antique bookstores, record shops, cafes, bakeries, and specialty grocery stores line this buzzing thoroughfare. There are plenty of things to do along the way, whether it’s soaking in the street art, enjoying some yummy food, sipping cocktails in a bar or visiting the infamous Turbo Island.

St. Nicholas Market

If you’re an advid Urban Creation social media follower, you will have seen our recent St. Nicks Reel! For a more rustic shopping experience, head to St. Nick’s Market, an indoor/outdoor city market dating back to 1743. Peruse colourful stalls hawking fresh produce, artisan gifts, unique fashion items, and street food from around the globe. Look out for crafts, textiles, and jewellery handmade by local Bristol artists.

The Old City & Stokes Croft

For vintage wares and one-of-a-kind finds, explore Bristol’s Old City and Stokes Croft neighbourhood. Vintage shops like Roma and Buffalo offer curated collections of retro apparel, accessories, and home goods. Pick through racks for hidden treasures! Finish off on Stokes Croft browsing small galleries and fair-trade boutiques.

Cabot Circus

Fancy some high-street spending? Cabot Circus is the place for you!

Opened in 2008, this vast shopping mecca spans multiple floors and hosts over 120 high street and designer stores. With its abundant shops, restaurants, and conveniences right in the heart of the city, Cabot Circus is a shopper’s paradise and Bristol’s premier retail destination.

There you have it, from British classics to local originals, Bristol’s diverse shopping scene offers something for every taste, budget and style. Grab your bag, and lets go!
